Urban Design Pro­pos­al for Peschiera Del Garda

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Creating a link between high speed cultural axis (Brescia, Verona) and low-speed natural axis (Garda Lake, Mincio Park) at their intersection point, Peschiera del Garda, is the conceptual idea for this project

MAPPING THE POTENTIALS

By detecting the voids and unused areas in Peschiera it is possible to establish a system of areas that form a physical connection, a reinterpretation on a local scale of the intersection of the two axes

RE-DESIGNING THE BORDERS

The idea is working on the borders of the city to release the strees from the city center and to improve the life’s quality of the residentes and visitors.

All the interventions provide an implementation of the existing scenario, taking advantage of existing structures, facilities and connections.
